Mission :
The mission of the BO Transmission is to manage the Operation & Maintenance of ATM Mobilis MW (Only MLTN) and SPO (Ericsson Equipements).Below are the activities that are part of BO Transmission:
  • Taking in charge the problems belonging to BO Transmission domain.
  • CRs issued from Transmission Engineering or NPOC Transmission, implementation.
  • Regular verification of SW alignment over all transmission nodes.
  • New nodes configuration as per the data received from ATM Engineering or NPOC Transmission.
  • Isolation & investigation of transmission failures.
  • Transmission failures resolution.
  • Ericsson local support interfacing.
  • TTs and CSR handling.
  • Back-up and disc space verification.
  • Jobs scheduling over the server in order to collect the back-up for all the configurations related to routine plans.
  • Consistencies checks for the back-ups and conflict resolution, if any.
  • DCN Plan implementation for the transmission nodes as per ATM Transmission Engineering recommendations.
  • Preventives maintenance for the transmission network as per the defined occurrence.
  • Perform OJTs (On Job Training) for customer BO Transmission Engineers.
  • Coach and Mentor Customer BO Transmission Engineers.
  • Provide on regular basis feedback and evaluation of customer engineers.
  • Report all activities as per the predefined format and based on the defined regularity.
  • Define any work instruction requested by the BO Transmission manager.
  • Request TT creation in case the related issues haven’t been reported by FO.

  • Preventive Maintenance;
  • Daily Reports;
  • Weekly reports;
  • Monthly reports;
  • Emergency opening and follow-up;
  • Follow-up on CSRs;
  • Provide OJTs to ATM Engineers;
  • Coaching & Mentoring for ATM Engineers;
  • Periodic Evaluation for ATM Engineers;
  • Dispatching of TT and/or Work Orders to FMO;
  • Escalate to BO Trans TL/Manager all hot issues;
  • Justify the TTs/CRs that have exceeded the SLA;
