Key responsibilities include:
- Commissioning of various equipment and tasks, including generators, transformers, switching stations, and high voltage systems.
- Preparation and execution of commissioning, trial runs, acceptance testing, and inspection/measurements as per defined works.
- Participation in site meetings to coordinate activities with project leads and managers.
- Utilization of available tools and aids to achieve assignment goals and drive continuous improvement.
- Management and supervision of system commissioning in adherence to safety instructions, environmental regulations, and project specifications.
- Facilitation of turnover processes from installation to commissioning and from commissioning to customer handover.
- Resolution of technical issues and management of open item lists under the engineer's responsibility.
- Documentation of commissioning activities, quality records, and feedback for compilation and release.
- Reporting of commercial and technical deviations and follow-up until resolution.
- Maintenance of daily work diaries, logbooks, and provision of site reports upon assignment completion.
- Provision of technical feedback to project engineering departments during debriefing meetings.
Qualifications:
-Commissioning experience and strong knowledge of Electrical Systems in Combined Cycle Power Plants .
- HV operation certification.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and German.
- Engineering degree from an accredited university.
- Possession of an International Driving License.
