We have an exciting opening for the position of Finance Controller.
The position will be based in our production site of Tizi Ouzou and reporting to the Business Support Senior Director.
The Position
As a Finance Controller in Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for controlling, budgeting, and forecasting: You will consolidate data, drive budget discussion with departments, prepare submission, and define allocation keys. You will prepare FTE plan with department managers and ensure input on salary/bonus calculation integrated into budget.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Follow-up on production variance, purchase price variance, and prepare PV comments to submit to Affiliate accounting.
Oversee Inventory adjustments (IA) by preparing IA comments, ageing inventory reporting/provision and follow up on stock adjustments.
Accounting, Tax and Treasury through preparation of the data for assets creation for Affiliate, and performing inventory count of fixed assets, consumables, and spare parts.
Oversee budget rate calculation of property tax as per local regulation and Cash flow management by forecasting/funding proposal and follow up. And manage invoice processing as well through Ice and payment follow up.
Evaluate and manage financial risk by establishing a financial risk mapping basis on local regulation, internal/external stakeholders, and then propose solutions to mitigate identified risks.
Qualifications
In order to be considered, we expect you to have:
University Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
3-4 years’ minimum of experience within Finance & Business controlling, ideally on production site of a multinational company
Fluency in French & English both reading and writing
Solid Excel and Microsoft Power Point skills, SAP knowledge is preferable
Strong Interpersonal communication skills and results focused.
About the Department
The Business Support department focus is the satisfaction of internal clients (core processes and LoB) and external clients (Affiliate and Algerian patients). The department covers the supply chain, Lean and strategy, Project Portfolio management, EHS, Finance, Procurement, IT and General Means /Security processes.
